The Lodge
Located in the heart of Borneo’s Wildlife Conservation Area, along the banks of the Kinabatangan River, which is home to an amazing world of wildlife in its most natural existence, in a little hinder village whom whence you can venture into a world of discovery of a myriad of animals, insects, birds and other flora and fauna. It is along these same banks that you can experience an unhurried hospitality in this wonderful world of unspoiled nature in a relaxing and laid back fashion at the Bukit Melapi Lodge.
The lodge, a native styled spread was designed to blend in with the surroundings of the tropical rainforest provides comfortable rooms with basic necessities and recreational facilities.
As you relax and soak in the ever splendor beauty of your surroundings, we will serve you delicious meals for you to indulge in while you engross in the never ending chorus of the sounds made by birds, monkeys, insects and other wild animals that can only be heard in an environment such as these. This truly fascinating exploration of wildlife in its most natural form will be an unforgettable experience for all nature lovers.
Coupled with these experiences, the Bukit Melapi Lodge nestled strategically along the banks and under the canopy of rainforest offers you accommodation for only 47 pampered guests at any one time.
THE MAIN BUILDING
The Main Building is a welcoming sight for guests arriving at Bukit Melapi Lodge. It’s unusual “A” shaped wooden architecture with high ceilings, open airy space gives one a feeling of coziness of dining outdoors while sitting indoors. Staircase located in the heart of the building leads up to the recreation room and higher above, a small secret “Tree-House” room.
Just outside of the main building, there is a sun deck used for observation, sunbathing and barbecue.

ACCOMMODATIONS
The Bukit Melapi Lodge’s individual lodges for guests are located within walking distance from the Main Building. A well-paved and lighted path joins each lodge all the way for guests’ convenience. Many offer views of the beautiful Kinabatangan River.
Types of lodges:
-10 units of twin sharing lodge
-6 units of double bed lodge
-2 units of triple bed lodge
-3 units of family lodge (equipped with 1 double and 1 single beds respectively).
Each unit is en-suite with:
-Bed(s) and beddings.
-Bathroom with hot shower and basic toiletries.
